Sachin Gupta, MD

Dr. Sachin Gupta grew up in Maryland, and obtained his B.A. degree in Ethnomusicology from the University of Virginia. He then moved to New York, where he received his M.D. degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He had the privilege of completing his residency in Otolaryngology at the New York University School of Medicine, where he trained under several renowned neurotologists: Drs. J. Thomas Roland, Jr., Anil Lalwani, Pamela Roehm, and Paul Hammerschlag.

Dr. Gupta then completed a 2-year fellowship in Neurotology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he had the privilege of training with Drs. Peter Roland, Brandon Isaacson, and Walter Kutz. Following this, he was an attending surgeon in Otology/Neurotology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Gupta then was an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon from 2017-2022. Dr. Gupta joined Swedish Medical Center in 2022, where he is Director of the Swedish Cochlear Implant Program, and Director of the Swedish Acoustic Neuroma Program.

Dr. Sachin Gupta is board certified in both otolaryngology and neurotology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Neurotology Society, and a member of the International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery (IWGEES).

Dr. Gupta's clinical interests include all aspects of otology and neurotology, with a special focus on transcanal endoscopic ear surgery (TEES), cochlear implantation, and skull base surgery.

Dr. Gupta is board certified in Otolaryngology, with additional subspecialty certification in Neurotology. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, hiking, classical piano, and spending time with his wife, two sons, and French Bulldog.
